Been a total slacker on here lately.
This past Labor Day weekend I went to Boston for a wedding. My friend Kara married into a wealthy east coast Indian family, and man what a wedding! It was a Hindi wedding, and they flown 5 priests over from India, the ceremony was 2 hours long, and everyone sat on the floor and watched...it was like nothing I had ever seen. There were also two nights of dancing. I learned the sort of Bollywood dances, I also did some major dirty dancing with my roommate Melissa, Alyssa, and Loren. All my old grad school buddies were there, it was a bit of a renuion. I will post pictures soon.
The food was amazing, indian family style at every table, there were over 500 quests. We were bused all over the place..the buses has TV's and we watched Police Academy during the ride.
I got my own hotel room, it had a huge bathtub, and a porch. It was a Wyhndam hotel, (I used to work at a Wynhdam in Milwaukee, and I would serve wedding parties food, it was funny to be on the other side of the table).
My friend's Jeff and Annie accidently ordered a porn called "MILF and Cookies" they accidently ordered it twice, so they had to go down to checkout desk and explain that they accidently ordered MILF and Cookies, and the guy at the desk was trying really hard not to laugh.
